OUR CURRICULUM

At Tabaka Academy, we use the 8-4-4 system like most public schools in the county due to several reasons. First of all, the 8-4-4 system is affordable which means most parents in the region can be able to bring their children to school. Moreover, the whole education process is relatively affordable given that most learning resources are locally sourced. With the curriculum, human resource is easily available and affordable making the whole process attainable cheaply.

Tabaka Academy is under the ministry of education, and we always rely on the guidance of the institution end of the bodies to ensure quality education in the school. Furthermore, we rely on the Kenya Institute of Curriculum development in regards to fulfillment for the curriculum’s objectives. So far, we are affiliated with the Kenya Private Schools Association and a member of the complementary schools in Kenya.
